Kentish Town is an energetic area bursting with activity and close to some of the great sights of London including:

Camden Market

Camden is a vibrant and diverse borough with a range of places to go and things to see. The world famous Camden Lock Market, by the canal, was the original craft market, established in 1974, but now has a much wider spectrum of goods on sale. Enjoy a great day of shopping and take in all the delights that Camden has to offer before enjoying a drink or two in some of the great bars and pubs Camden has to offer. There are also many restaurants to suit everyone's taste and budget.

Kentish Town Farm

With its organic garden, active breeding programme, ever-evolving range of animals, pony rides (at the weekends, weather permitting), activities and school tours, the 4.5 acre Kentish Town City Farm simply bursts with life and energy.

Parliament Hill

Originally a point of defence for troops loyal to parliament during the English Civil War, Parliament Hill (previously known as Traitor's Hill) is now a favoured spot for ramblers, kite-flyers, picnickers, and general strollers. The gateway to huge, sprawling Hampstead Heath, it offers stunning views over London and is one of the best places in the capital to enjoy an evening stroll as the sunsets.

Regents Park

The Regent's Park, 166 hectares (410 acres), includes stunning rose gardens with more than 30,000 roses of 400 varieties. The Park is the largest outdoor sports area in London with 'The Hub' a community sports pavilion and sports pitches, nearly 100 acres available for sports fans of all abilities.

London Zoo

Indulge your senses and engage your mind and with so many exciting animals, a day at London Zoo offers the ultimate back to nature experience and supports the active conservation of many amazing species. Watch out for the Happy Families area, where you can see meerkats keeping an eye on their neighbours from rocky outcrops. Watch the playful otters swimming gracefully underwater as they chase each other in and out of the pools and waterfalls. Visit the tapirs and see them enjoying their new pool in their indoor enclosure or see the endangered tamarins basking in the sunshine in their new outdoor enclosures.

Canal Cruise on the Regents Canal

Starting off at the canal docks in Camden, a tranquil oasis in the heart of London's bustling Camden Lock, you will get to enjoy the sights as you take a leisurely cruise down the canal, passing London Zoo and Regents Park, through the Maida Hill Tunnel and onto Little Venice. You can choose to alight here and explore Little Venice, about a square mile within London 's Maida Vale district, which is one of the more exclusive residential districts in central London . It also has great access to Oxford Street , the West End and Paddington. Or you can take the cruise back to Camden Lock.
